Magdoos Media’s primary designer, lead designer and art director of Checkpoint Magazine, Paul Elmes is one of the industry’s best and most experienced designers. Paul has over 30 years experience designing and art directing for national magazines and newspaper supplements including Express Newspapers, The Telegraph, Mail on Sunday, BBC Worldwide, Metropolitan Home and TimeInc, specialising in advertorial promotions. In1994 he was co-founder of Gowers Elmes Publishing, developing and publishing contract customer magazines across food, business and finance, property, and charity sectors – and became co-founder of games publisher jpsXtramedia in 2014.

Having worked on Checkpoint Magazine for the last year, Paul is currently working on creating a contract publishing arm to the business in which he can bring clients up to the digital age by transforming their publications into digital interactive magazines.
